Memorial services for Avi were held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, in Odenton, MD, on Thursday, April 25th, 2013, at 1PM, followed by a reception in Avi's honor at the Malik family residence. All were encouraged to come and share memories of Avi.
The viewing for Dr. Bimal Pal, a founding member of Prantik, was held at Schimunek Funeral Home in Bel Air, MD, on Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM. A memorial service was conducted by their family priest at 7 PM, followed by a light dinner. The cremation service was held at Atlantic Crrematory, LLC, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, on December 1, 2012, at 4 PM, with a service conducted by Dr. Bidhan Bandyopadhyay.
The funeral for Mrs. Nilima Mazumder was held on May 26, 2012, at Peaceful Alternatives, in Timonium, MD, from 10:30 AM. Gathering of family and friends was at Padonia Park Club, in Cockeysville, MD at 1PM. The Mazumder Family requests that instead of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
Prantik’s Ex-President Dr. Sisir Ray passed away on Nov 3, 2014. "Dr. Sisir K. Ray Memorial Scholarship Fund" has been established at Coppin State University. Pranab Haldar, known to us as Pareshda, passed away on the night of Dec 13, 2014.He was a founder member of Prantik and worked tirelessly to make Prantik an organization that provides the best for its members. He was a principal writer of Prantik’s by laws and was a highly talented artist. The Halder family requests donation to Alzheimer's Organization in memory of Pareshda.
